The Fayette County Schools C.A.R.E.
Program is offering the following parenting seminars: Ten session
series of Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (S.T.E.P.) at Oak
Grove Elementary on Tuesdays beginning Aug. 28, 2007 from 6:30 – 8pm.
Love and Logic (seven session series) Mondays at Peeples Elementary
beginning Sept. 10, 2007. The first session, “Four Goals of
Misbehavior” of the four C.A.R.E. Workshop series will be Wednesday, Aug
30 at the WHS auditorium from 6pm – 8:30pm. There is no cost for
participation however there is a $15 charge for book related to the
parenting seminars. Please contact BES Counselor, Ms. Williams, at
770-719-8150 ext 231 if you are interested in registration and for
further details as soon as possible.

Parents - For your child's safety,
please remember to sign-in and sign-out from the office.

Learning Lab – If you would like to
volunteer to help with the Learning Lab, please contact the office. The
Learning Lab is where students get extra individual learning time with a
volunteer. Devoting two hours a week to this vital teacher resource
will be very rewarding.

Please do not park on the road next to
the front parking lot. It is a fire lane and you may receive a traffic
ticket.

Please join the PTO for $20 per family
and receive a Brooks car magnet.

School hours – 7:45 – 2:30. If you
bring your child in after the bell rings, parents are to sign the
student in at the front desk.
